My sons are on a money making idea. We humans use a lot of invertebrates for our own commercial gain – just look at our honey bees. They have some Zebra Silk Moth eggs, Bombyx mori, commonly referred to as silkworms. They are going to run a silk farm (sericulture) take on China and make their fortunes, buy lots of DS games and be happy for the rest of their lives. What they are not prepared for is how quickly these guys grow and just how much they eat. Should be interesting.....
